Theseries here presented is called "Simple Isn’t Easy", born from the feeling that life is growing more and more complicated. In contrast, simplicity brings space—space for calm, and space for what truly matters.
But simplicity isn’t the same as ease. To simplify means making choices. What stays? What goes? Stripping something back to its essence is delicate work. In art, as in life, less can ask more—from both the maker and the viewer.
Paul’s figures are reduced to their most human forms. His materials—lime, marble powder, egg tempera, chalk paint—are quiet, natural, and rooted in tradition. Natural is important to him, he has been building a food forest in southern Spain for 20 yeaars. His process is slow and intentional, inviting stillness in a fast world.
In this simplicity, there’s room for reflection. Room to feel. Room to see differently.
